Thank you for wanting to share your CIEE BridgeUSA experience! Contributing a blog post is a great way to build valuable writing and publishing skills – and help others decide whether work, learn, and travel abroad programs are right for them.
Fill in the form and attach your blog submission, including any photos you’d like to feature. You’ll be notified when your blog post is online.
Blog Submission Guidelines and Best Practices
- Be specific in your headline, and create curiosity to encourage people to read on. (Example: My 5 Favorite Activities as a Brit in Austin, Texas)
- Provide high-resolution images. We may choose not to publish all photos submitted. Include information with each photo to let us know what's happening and where you are.
- Use a natural, conversational tone that relates to your audience.
- Make sure to note what any abbreviations stand for.
- All posts will be reviewed before being published. They may be edited for:
- Clarity
- Readability
- Consistency
- Brand and style
- Inappropriate content
- Search practices
- All participants' names will appear as First Name, Last Initial. (Example: Noah P.)
- All adults' names will appear as First Name, Last Name. We typically also identify your state. (Example: Beth Jones, a host mom from Arkansas)
- We may reach out to you prior to publication if there are any lingering questions.
- If you see an error after your blog post has been published, reach out to bridgeusamarketing@ciee.org so that we can make the correction.
