Zebras Wanna Learn Too
"Mom there was a zebra in our class today!" Ever imagine you would hear these words? Well that was exactly what happened during the students' Setswana language session. You may be wondering, is this normal? Not usually, but here at Mokolodi Nature Reserve anything is possible. The reserve has animals in the wild and also rescues injured and orphaned animals. It includes an education center and dorms that we are lucky to call home. The setting definitely enhances the experience.
The students have tried many new things including Botswana food, traditional games and dance as well as acquiring new bush survival skills. They are also learning much about different parts of the USA through the new friendships taking form. The constant chatter and laughter amongst the group makes it clear spirits are high and everyone is having fun! Enjoy these videos showcasing some of their new skills.
