Beach and City Adventures

We have had such a busy and incredible first week. We started off in Lisbon where students had a surf lesson. A surprisingly large number of them got to standing on their board! We traveled up the coast to the town of Aveiro which everyone loved exploring. We got a city tour and a boat ride on the canal. Students kayaked down the Ria de Aveiro and also did some river quality tests. Every night we do a wrap up which includes journaling, shout outs and reflection. We have now landed back in the greater Lisbon area on a very cool eco-friendly field station. We have an all-natural pool/pond here where we get to swim with tadpoles! Enjoy our photos :)
