Internship overview
Intern will learn all aspects of dynamic gallery work and work closely with the Gallery Director and Gallery Manager. Intern will be immersed in daily operations, offer support in ongoing exhibition coordination, and assist with strategic development of the gallery’s Instagram presence. Potential tasks include:
- Assisting with social media strategy and daily posting
- Preparing press materials
- Graphic design projects if qualified
- General gallery administration
Suggested qualifications
- Proficient use of social media (including understand of professional vs. personal use)
- Interest in contemporary art
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Background and interest in communication; professional demeanor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Mac and Google Suite required; experience with InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop helpful
