Internship overview

This position would entail some innovative in-office days working alongside the CEO and her sales team to assist with ongoing social media, public relation efforts and help to facilitate live events.  Additional projects would focus on the MindfulModule use and implementation in schools. Main responsibilities Include: 

  • Identify and communicate potential social media posting opportunities based on direction received
  • Organize collateral in Google Drive (photos, articles, etc.) for ease of access and successful communication to media, press  
  • Professionally produce content for social media channels following company policies and guidelines. (Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Wordpress..etc)  
  • Attend conferences and events on behalf of the company
  • Write follow-up press releases for special events
  • Assist in preparing information, surveys and research materials related to benefits of mindfulness in educational environments; create and maintain PowerPoint style (preferably Keynote) presentations (with citations)  
  • Manage databases and input information, data, and records
  • Research and gather documentation on requested topics

Suggested qualifications

  • Passion for social media, marketing, and communication with fluent copywriting skills
  • 1+ years of experience writing social media content
  • Proficiency in Apple Keynote, GSuite/Gmail required
  • Self-directed and able to work without micromanagement 
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Database skills required
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator a plus, Canva is ok
